I have always said that each of us makes up our mind to do exactly what we want to do. We may say we don’t have time for this or we don’t have time for that. If we stop to really think about it, we all make up our minds to do exactly what we want to do don’t we in the end? Don’t let others pressure you in what is important to you.
SOME THINGS WOMEN WISH MEN KNEW!
- It’s really okay to stop and ask for directions. I won’t think any less of you if you do. I would prefer that to driving an hour out of our way because you think you know where you are going. Better yet, why not invest in a GPS?
- Don’t leave the toilet seat up. I don’t particularly like having my butt fall in the water if I have to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
- Make me feel important.
- Treat me with respect. I like having you open car doors for me, letting me go first when we go in a building, or into the house, and when you pull my seat out for me and push it in.
- Surprise me sometimes with flowers, a movie night or dinner night you have planned. I would also like it if you took me on a picnic to the park once in a while.
- Hold my hand. I like it when you show me affection not expecting anything in return.
- Show thoughtfulness. If you are going to be late, call by letting me know.
- Don’t look at other women with radar eyes when you are with me. If you are on a date with me don’t be scanning the area for your next date. It makes me feel terrible inside!
- Let me talk if I want to talk and pay attention to what I am saying. When your eyes start looking like those donuts with the white icing on them, I know you are not with me.
- Make sure you are clean; your nails are cleaned out, your hair is at least combed, and your clothes are not disheveled.
